Kajal Borkar is the writer, director, and producer of the short films “the unwanted mother” and “Breathe”. She is a filmmaker pursuing her MFA in Film and Television Production with an emphasis on Screenwriting and Directing at San Diego State University. With a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication & Journalism, she has experience as a writer, director, producer, and art director, including for more than 6 films such as "The Unwanted Mother" and "Breathe."  She holds more than 5 years of industry experience as an assistant director for 7 episodic web series “Unmarried” along with working as an assistant cinematographer, grip, gaffer, assistant director, and content writer for companies such as Luxeva India Pvt. Ltd., ALGOL Films and Productions, and Romani Road Artist Studios.
